Dashboard

What you need to know about the dashboard?

The dashboard is the first thing you will see after logging in to the back office.

filename: dashboard

Basically, the dashboard has two main functions:

  1. To show you important data about your business

  2. To act as a waypoint to different features and functions within the back office

Note: The data and information on the dashboard are in real-time. Since the dashboard receives information and data, you will see it updated every time you refresh your browser.

In this guide, you will learn how to navigate the dashboard easily and explore its different parts.

What are the different parts of the dashboard?

There are three main parts of the dashboard:

  1. Header bar

  2. Menu bar

  3. Visual reports or cards

Note: The header bar and the menu bar are sticky bars that stick at the top of every page in the back office.

Header bar

The header bar is the topmost bar — the one with the search bar in it.

Here, you will find the following elements from left to right:

  • Search bar

  • Player uploads notification (yellow bell)

  • General notification (orange bell)

  • Profile button

  • Power button

The search bar represents the admin search function.

This feature allows you to search for any player or game.

The Player uploads notification bell is a shortcut to the Player Identity Uploads page. It will alert the admin every time a user has uploaded a document.

Aside from being able to view what a user has uploaded, you could also choose whether to approve, reject, or delete the uploaded document.

The general notification bell will alert you of all player-related activities on the front end like deposits, wins, etc…

The profile button will take you to the Edit Admin page where you can edit the admin record in the database.

Lastly, the power button will log you out of the back office.

The menu bar

Below the header bar is the menu bar which will take you to different pages in the back office.

All the menu icons here are clickable and will take you to their respective pages.

As you visit a page in the back office, you will notice that its icon on the menu bar will turn to blue to indicate where you currently are.

For example, if you try and access the general settings, you will notice that the Settings icon on the menu becomes blue instead of green.

The visual reports or cards

Below the menu bar are different cards that contain information and data.

This part provides you an at-a-glance view of the important indicators relevant to your business.

The information you will find here are:

  • The number of successful deposits and the total deposit amount in a certain time period

  • The number of new registrants and total players online today

  • The number of successful withdrawals and the total withdrawn amount in a certain time period

  • The gross gaming revenue

  • A bar graph comparing the annual revenue/deposits/withdrawals of the current year against the previous years

  • The net per systems and category according to month, year, week, day, or lifetime

  • The last 5 registrations

  • The last 5 deposits

  • The last 5 withdrawals

  • The world market showing a map with all the players online and the revenue by country

All the cards that allow you to view the data on a certain time period have a clickable dropdown on the bottom right side of the card.

For example, if you would like to view the total deposit within the month, all you have to do is click on the dropdown and choose Month (as shown below).

The bar graph also has its own dropdown found on the upper right side of the card.

This will allow you to change the settings between revenue, deposit, and withdrawals.

The net per systems and category card also has a dropdown on the bottom part.

The dropdown will allow you to change the data shown by year, month, week, day, or lifetime.

The next three cards show the last five registrations, deposits, and withdrawals.

If you want to see more than five, simply click on the View All button found on the upper right side of each card.

Note: In these cards, the first name, last name, and the user ID are hyperlinks. Clicking on a player’s name or user ID will bring you to his or her (player’s) page.

The last card shows the world market.

Two things you need to know here:

  • You could zoom in and zoom out of the world map.

  • You could hover on the revenue by country graph to show which country has the highest shares.
