What do you need to know about the live chat feature?
As part of the support features, there’s also a live chat which caters to the needs of the players.
Everything that happens on the live chat is managed in the back office.

In this guide, you will learn everything you need about the live chat.
Message panel
To start, click “Live Chat” on the menu bar.

On this page, the very first panel you will see is the message panel.
Here, you will see all the online players, the online operators, as well as any live chats from players.

On the “Online users” section, all players accessing the front end will be shown here.
If ever the player enters his or her name, that name will be shown on that panel. Otherwise, you will only see “visitor…”

If you hover your mouse over above the user’s name on the “Online users” section, you will see other information about those users.

On the “Online operators” section, you will see all the admins and support staff who are online at that moment.
Hovering your mouse at the operator’s name will also show some of his or her details.

On the center is the new message from a player.
There are also widgets on the right which enable you to invite another user (operator), leave the talk, send the talk transcript to the email the player has provided, and show on the map the location of the player when available.

There’s also another panel on the live chat page which is the settings page.
The first section you will see here is the “Canned messages”.

Canned messages are ready-made replies and messages.
As you can see from the image above, you can view, edit, and delete all the canned messages here.
If you would like to add a new canned message, click on the “Add new” button.

Here, you will be able to add a name and body for that canned message. Once you’re done, click on the “Save” button.

Click the “Back to list” button to go back to the canned messages list.
You can then use the canned messages as replies.

The next section is the “History” section. You will see here all the live chats that happened.
To show all past live chats, click on the “Search” button without writing anything on the “Username”, “Email” or date range.
Simply click on an item on the history page to view the conversation.

On the “Widget settings” section, you will be able to change how the widget will look like on the front end.

You would be able to change the following:
Widget theme (Compact, Modern, Original, Oval)
Colors (primary, secondary, and label)
Hide when off-line (on or off)
Show widget automatically (on every page refresh, only on the first visit, until the user hides the widget, or turn off)
Show widget automatically after (seconds)
Ask guests for e-mail
Widget’s width (in pixels with a minimum of 370)
Widget’s height (in pixels)
Widget’s side (right or left)
Mobile version breakpoint (web responsiveness)
Once you have made changes, click on the “Save” button.
After that is the “Widget blacklist” section where you can blacklist certain URL from displaying the widget.

Here, you can write the whole URL or just part of the URL of the page such as “en/games” or “en/products”.
Don’t forget to click on the “Save” button.
The last section is “Settings”.

The options available are the following:
Default language
Contact form e-mail
Media in chat boxes for images and videos (display automatically, display when clicked, and turn off)
Maximum connections
Chatting refresh rate
Operator-initialed talks
User tracking refresh rate
New message sound
Maximum uploaded file size in MB
File sharing (allow or turn off)
Google Maps API key
Once you have made any changes, don’t forget to click on the “Save” button.
