How to manage the languages in the system?

On this page, you will be able to manage the languages in the system.

In this guide, you will learn how to add, edit, and delete a language from the system.

Manage the languages in the system

To start, click “Admin” ➡ “Manage Languages” on the menu bar.

You will find on this page a simple table where you can add, edit, and delete a new language.

Note: English is the default language and cannot be deleted from the system.

Add a new language

To add a new language, click on the “Add” button.

Then, provide the name of the language, the flag, and the priority (in what order it will be displayed on the front end).


Click on the “Add” button once you’re done.

After adding the language, you will see it now on the front end as one of the languages listed.

Edit a language

If you’ve noticed, there are two “Edit” buttons on the form.


The first button is for editing the translations of that language.


Since English is the default language, the newly created language will contain English translations.


To edit the translations, click on the first “Edit” button.

As you can see, the translations are still in English.


To edit it, simply click on the field and write down the translation.

Once you’re done, simply click on the “Edit” button below to save the changes.

The second “Edit” button will enable you to edit the parameters of the language. These are the same settings when creating a new language.

After you make the changes, click on the “Edit” button to save the changes.

Delete a language

You can also delete a language if you want to.


Simply click on the “Delete” button of that language.

Deleting a language is an irreversible action so make sure you know what you’re doing before you proceed.


Lastly, confirm the delete action by pressing on the final “Delete” button.

That’s it! The language is now deleted.
